1. Uxbridge Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals through Uxbridge are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement supplied at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the specific terms, conditions, insurance arrangements, fees, and your responsibilities for that rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement applies.

2. Uxbridge Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Uxbridge, you must:

Be at least 21 years old to rent from Uxbridge (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification, proof of address and a payment method accepted by Uxbridge, presented at vehicle collection as set out in the Rental Agreement.

3. Reservation and Payment

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Uxbridge location. A deposit may be requested to hold your reservation. Full payment, together with any security deposit, is normally payable when the vehicle is collected. All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage to Uxbridge immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Uxbridge representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as it was at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found on return will be assessed and charged to the hirer. Repairs and related costs will be invoiced to the individual who signed the rental agreement.

5. Coverage and Liability

Basic third-party insurance is included with all Uxbridge rentals. Full coverage details and any excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance products may be offered to lower your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount specified in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Modifications

Cancellation and amendment policies differ by booking type and notice period. Please check your Uxbridge booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for full details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur service charges.

7. Disallowed Uses

You must not use the Uxbridge vehicle for:

Any illegal purpose or activity involving Uxbridge vehicles. Racing, rallying, off‑road use, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Subletting the vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate Uxbridge rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability for Uxbridge

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Uxbridge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Uxbridge for the services in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Uxbridge Law

These Terms for Uxbridge are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Uxbridge Terms

Uxbridge may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Uxbridge website. Your continued use of Uxbridge services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
